G&B North West has won regional recognition at this year’s Insider Made in the North West Awards. It is the second innovation award for the company in six months, following on from the success at the EEF Future Manufacturing regional awards.
The company won the Manufacturing Innovation Award for its Cure It GRP flat roof system. Cure It is a revolutionary GRP waterproofing system made with specially formulated roofing resin and topcoat designed for roofing applications, and supplied with a 20 year materials guarantee.
The Manufacturing Innovation Award is presented to the company that has generated a substantial financial return and impact on a regional, national or international level from an innovative product or process that has been designed and manufactured in the North West.
G&B North West were shortlisted alongside some of the most innovative businesses in the region at the prestigious awards held at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester. The event was held in association with the Department for International Trade and sponsored by Perpetual Partnerships.
Matthew Chialton, Sales Director at G&B North West, said: “We are proud to receive the Manufacturing Innovation Award for our flagship product Cure It. It is recognition for our approach to developing a market leading GRP flat roofing system. We continue to invest in product research and development to ensure that our waterproofing system is the best in the market.”
G&B North West will join the other regional award winners at the Insider Made in the UK national awards held in June at the Titanic Hotel, Liverpool, competing for the national Manufacturing Innovation Award.
